| We are currently recruiting attendees for the 2010 NWO Symposium on Science, Mathematics, and Technology Teaching hosted at Penta Career Center on Saturday, November 6 from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. SECO will have a booth at the conference and a SECO representative is presenting as well. We are hoping that SECO can help us advertise for this event. In return we would give any SECO member a reduced rate to the Symposium. The current price is $40 for attendees, but SECO members would be able to attend for only $35. All they would have to do is register, then when they get to the credit card payment screen select the SECO Member reduced rate option OR mail a check to the address on the payment website. They would need to register and pay by October 29 for the reduced rate. Symposium Brief Description-SECOThe 2010 NWO Symposium on Science, Mathematics, and Technology Teaching will take place on Saturday, November 6 from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM hosted by Penta Career Center. Participants will engage in innovative activities, share teaching ideas and tools, and grow as an educator. SECO members can attend for the reduced rate of $35 ($20 for undergraduate students) before October 29. The registration fee includes: lunch and snacks during the day, certificate of contact hours, and teaching resources and materials.
